The Brasserie can also be booked exclusively for private and corporate events. We take care of the menu, organisation and details, so you can concentrate on your guests.
Corporate events and Christmas parties
Finding the right venue in Vienna often means compromise: the room is beautiful, but the food is forgettable; or the kitchen is good, but the setting feels like a conference hotel. At our Brasserie, you do not have to choose. Sir Terence Conran’s interior – wood, leather, brass and large windows towards the Albertina – creates an atmosphere that feels festive without trying too hard.
The Brasserie is especially popular for Christmas parties. During Advent, we offer festive menus and sharing platters created by Head Chef Florian Oswald for the season: fine wines, generous dishes and a mood that feels celebratory without slipping into kitsch.
What we host
Our guests celebrate all kinds of occasions with us: company Christmas parties, team dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, small weddings, product launches, press events and client dinners. Some book the Brasserie for an exclusive dinner with business partners; others prefer a relaxed cocktail evening after an event.
What these occasions have in common is the need for a place that can adapt – to the size of the group, the mood and the reason for gathering. That is exactly what we do well.
Your menu, made for the occasion
We create a menu for every event. Together with our Head Chef, we discuss your preferences, dietary requirements and the nature of the evening. From a multi-course dinner to sharing platters or finger food for a presentation, the food is shaped around your event, not the other way round.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available, of course. Our kitchen works with regional produce and seasonal ingredients, accompanied by Austrian wines, champagne and cocktails from the bar.
Exclusive use of the Brasserie
The full Brasserie can be reserved exclusively for your event. Your guests, your atmosphere, no walk-ins. The room can be arranged flexibly: a festive seated dinner, a cocktail reception with standing tables, or a relaxed evening around shared plates.
The location could hardly be easier for your guests: in Vienna’s city centre, directly opposite the Albertina and a few steps from the State Opera. In summer, the terrace is available too – an aperitif outside is a lovely way to begin.
We take care of the details
A good event depends on the things guests rarely notice because everything runs smoothly. Our team looks after the seating plan, menu selection and coordination on the day itself. You tell us the occasion, group size and ideas; we take care of the rest, with the same attention to detail that defines the hotel.
Combining your event with an overnight stay at The Guesthouse Vienna is also possible. Guests who would rather not go home afterwards can simply take the lift upstairs.
