Accessible boutique hotel in Vienna
Travel should feel open, easy and dignified. That is why accessibility mattered to us from the very beginning – not as an add-on, and certainly not as a compromise.
Our accessible room is designed to feel exactly like the rest of the house: the same materials, the same sense of comfort, the same quiet elegance. It should not feel like a special category. It should feel like The Guesthouse.
The accessible room
Our accessible room is a fully appointed Deluxe Double Room of 32 m². Like all our rooms, it is reached by lift. Distances, heights, depths and support features were considered during planning and reviewed several times by accessibility experts.
The room offers the comfort and design standard of our Deluxe category.

Accessibility throughout the hotel
Accessibility does not stop at the bedroom door. The Brasserie & Bakery on the ground floor is fully accessible for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Accessible toilets in the basement can be reached by lift. Our reception and restaurant teams are trained to assist where needed – attentively, discreetly and without fuss.
Accessible Vienna
Vienna is relatively easy to navigate for guests with reduced mobility. Underground stations have lifts, buses and trams offer low-floor access, and many major sights – including the Albertina, Kunsthistorisches Museum, Belvedere and MuseumsQuartier – are accessible. Karlsplatz underground station is just a few minutes from the hotel.
The old city does have cobblestones, narrow lanes and the occasional uneven pavement. It is only fair to say so. The main streets – Kärntner Straße, Graben and Kohlmarkt – are pedestrianised and easy to manage. For anything beyond that, our concierge team will gladly help you choose the smoothest routes.
Vienna Tourism also offers useful accessibility information.
Why it matters to us
Accessibility is not a feature we mention because it sounds good. It is part of our understanding of hospitality. The Guesthouse Vienna should be a place where every guest feels welcome, whether they use the stairs, the lift or need a little extra support.
